Hazel is a Clinical Psychologist and Child Psychotherapist, which laid the ground for creating the Solihull Approach model. She leads the team and is passionate about raising the level of emotional health at a population level. She also emphasises the importance of processing emotions as a foundation for wellbeing. She operationalises this in training and online pathways.

Rebecca is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with 20 years of clinical experience, predominantly in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Perinatal Mental Health, with a special interest in Infant Mental Health and Parenting. She has been a Solihull Approach trainer and contributor since 2001. She is proud to be a member of the Education Policy Alliance and a Square Peg Associate. She is also on the advisory board of the National Centre for Supervision of Parent-Infant Relationships. 

Mary is a Health Visitor. She shares her knowledge of early years development and parental wellbeing in co-writing many of the online learning pathways. She also supports and champions the team’s trainers and helps with enquires from organisations or schools who are interested in training with Togetherness. 

Samantha leads our external engagement activities, championing emotional health for families in the UK and with international partners in public health, education and third sector mental health services. 

Nicola looks after the operational side of our Multi-user licences for the online learning pathways for parents, carers, grandparents and teenagers, and online professional CPD.  

Alanah helps implement the digital marketing strategy of our team, helping to manage our social media channels, mailing lists and website. She also supports our multi-user licence areas with designing social media assets.

Leah oversees the coordination and delivery of our closed training programmes for practitioners. From the initial enquiry through to post-training follow-up, she provides support to ensure each session is well-organised, runs smoothly and meets the needs of attendees.

Kit supports the delivery of Togetherness training, providing customer service support to both trainers and training participants.

Ed brings life to Togetherness digital content as well as designing print publications for training and marketing. He provides customised resources to our sponsoring partners around the world.

Lindsay provides comprehensive financial administrative support to the Togetherness team alongside customer service. She offers friendly and helpful guidance to many of our phone enquiries.

Teresa works closely with our Closed Trainings Team and has been developing our processes for scheduling and arranging trainings. Teresa also uses her creative background in art and design to support our digital design team.

Hannah manages our office systems and processes overseeing client and customer services and managing programme delivery.

Isabelle supports and leads on various communications channels, championing emotional health in the UK, internationally and in schools. She creates content which shares insights into Togetherness’ online pathways, while also supporting multi-user licence areas with communications assets to engage parents in the local area. She also leads on communications performance analysis.

Vaishali provides comprehensive financial administrative support to the Togetherness team.

Surrinder is an experienced healthcare professional who works in the NHS. 

She is passionate about the Solihull Approach Model and uses it in all aspects of her professional and personal life.

Trainer, Retired Head Teacher, Retired Development Officer – Education Scotland 

Mary is an experienced former Head Teacher. She embedded the Solihull Approach model in her school. This was recognised as very good practice by HMIe. She worked as a Development Officer with the Inclusion Team at Education Scotland for two years. 

National Trainer, Parenting Coordinator

Sharon was trained in the Solihull Approach in 2009 when she was in post as a Parent Support Advisor and has been embedding the approach in her work ever since, which has been in Schools, Pupil referral units and as a Family Support Worker. 

Since 2017 Sharon has been in the Parenting Team at City of Doncaster Council. 

Sharon regularly delivers the 2 Day Foundation Approach and Parent Group training in Doncaster.

Licenced Trainer, 0-19 Professional 

Dawn holds a wealth of experience within the 0-19yr old arena, supporting professionals and parents in understanding their child’s/young persons behaviours, bringing the Solihull Approach model into the heart of practice.  

Dawns many years of practice begun in the early years, understanding the importance of healthy relationships & environments for young children’s developing brains, expanding into training students progressing into the field of childcare & now delivering all things Solihull. 

Trainer, Clinical Child Psychologist

Ali is an experienced Child Psychologist and  has worked for the NHS for over 30yrs. She has worked in Perinatal Mental Health, Autism Assessment and in multi disciplinary teams working with children under 5yrs with complex needs. She is passionate about tiny babies and the importance of early experience in shaping future relationships. Ali was involved in the roll out of the Solihull Approach locally to Health Visitors and other colleagues in early 2000s and became a national Solihull Approach trainer in 2007.

Kay is a coach, parenting consultant and trainer with over 27 years’ experience in Education, Early Years, attachment and psychology.  

She specialises in strengthening practitioners practice in building strong relationships and is passionate about promoting positive outcomes for children, families and those who work with them.
