International research demonstrates the positive impact of Togetherness for practitioners and families, exploring transformative experiences and highlighting greater awareness of the emotional needs of families.

We have published research in the UK, Sweden, and Australia celebrating the impact of the Solihull Approach model for families, communities, health visitors, and other professionals.

Our international impact spans across continents, with licenced centres and trained practitioners across the globe.

Togetherness training includes a cascade model which means that our evidence-based approach and guidance can be shared easily across professional groups, therapists and teams. Training is bookable by individuals and easily accessed through live, virtual sessions or for teams with bespoke options which we can tailored to your needs. Other courses enable trained staff to qualify to train others, including ‘train the trainer’.

From consultancy and therapy, to schools and healthcare, we are proud of our extensive network of passionate ambassadors around the world:

The Icelandic Mental Health Association, Geðverndarfélag Íslands, expanded its long-standing collaboration with Togetherness in 2024 by funding free access to our online learning resources for all residents of Iceland. The digital offer allows the Icelandic population of 250,000 parents, carers and grandparents to explore over 15 online learning pathways focused on childhood development, emotional wellbeing, and parenting, supporting families from pregnancy through the teenage years.

The Togetherness licenced centre in Australia supports a full breadth of training across disciplines, as well as leading further research and resource development. Led by Helen Stevens, Registered Nurse, Midwife and Maternal and Child Health Nurse and Infant Mental Health Clinician, Togetherness training has positively impacted practitioners by providing a model for navigating difficult conversations with the families they work with. Practitioners have shared that they are more satisfied in their work and feel empowered, enabling families to use their autonomy and increase their capacity to reflect. Using the renowned Solihull Approach model as a foundation, Togetherness training supports quality interactions and is applicable across diverse cultural, linguistic, socio-economic, and life experience backgrounds in Australia.

Togetherness training and groups for parents are available in China through our licensed centre. This important partnership has also delivered local access to online learning pathways for parents translated into Chinese and embedded in Chinese social media app, WeChat. This new online channel is an important step forward in expanding the impact of our online learning and sharing evidence-based practices internationally, reaching Chinese speaking practitioners, parents and families across the globe.

In India, Togetherness launched its licensed centre in Mumbai in 2024, marking a significant milestone in expanding its evidence-based training. Thanks to our partnership led by Mahek Uttamchandani, Consultant Occupational Therapist, practitioners across India can access the 2 Day Foundation training locally.

In addition to practitioner training, Mahek Uttamchandani also delivers in-person parent groups. These sessions focus on understanding child development, interpreting behaviour, and enhancing emotional health and wellbeing for both parents and children. We are proud to support the centre in our mutual commitment to fostering close relationships that empower children and their caregivers to thrive.

Togetherness confirmed its licensed centre in Malaysia in 2025, with a group of early years practitioners becoming the first practitioners in Malaysia to complete our 2 Day Foundation training. Delivered in both native language and English, the training offered expert insights into emotional wellbeing and children’s mental health to practitioners who had not previously received any formal training.
