Accessible learning about emotional health and childhood development for everyone
We work hard to make as much of our content as possible free to all families worldwide, including our online pathways, sometimes described as courses. You’ll find lots of information and resources here that are available without charge. Some of our pathways have a small fee, which helps us keep our platform running. These are all clearly identified on the pathway pages.

Exclusive free online learning for our partner areas
We are proud to work with sponsoring partners around the UK and internationally to fund licences to ensure free access for larger groups. Much of the UK is covered by our fantastic network of partners. You can find out if this makes it free for you and which partner funds your access using our free access checker.

The following pathways are completely free to everyone in the UK as part of our commitment to parents and families to raise emotional health:

Understanding pregnancy, labour, birth and your baby
Getting to know your baby in the womb can be an important part of bonding with your child. This pathway includes the essential information you might expect from an antenatal course, with information on preparing to give birth and welcoming and comforting your new baby.
Uniquely, it also supports parents and families to understand early infant mental health, your own emotional health and ways to nurture your relationship with your baby to enable them to thrive. 9 online Modules reflect a 6 week in-person equivalent antenatal course. This course also has professional translations in Modern Standard Arabic, Polish, Welsh, and Urdu.

Understanding pregnancy, labour, birth and your baby: for women couples
This tailored antenatal course shares experiences from other women couples expecting a baby. Including the main antenatal information about preparing to welcome your baby, this course is also designed to support your own emotional health and understand the emotional development of your baby.

Understanding your preterm or sick baby in hospital
This supportive learning pathway helps parents develop a close and connected relationship with their baby while managing a range of emotions and a busy clinical care environment. You’ll find supportive guidance on baby development milestones relating to feeding, sleeping and crying alongside helpful signposts informed by parents with shared experience.

Understanding your preterm or sick baby now you’re home
A supportive resource to help parents develop a close and connected relationship with their baby while considering the additional worries related to additional specialist baby care. The pathway includes supportive guidance around baby development milestones relating to feeding, sleeping and crying and helpful signposts informed by parents with shared experience.
