Kate Lawler sits on a grey sofa with Togetherness' soft play shapes.

For almost 30 years, NHS’ Togetherness has trained professionals working with children and families. Today, parenting is more complex than ever, with social media, AI, rising anxiety levels, and changing family dynamics creating new challenges for parents navigating modern family life.

The organisation supports parents through bite-sized online programmes that help them understand child development and the developing brain, respond to children’s emotions, and build long-term emotional resilience.

Kate Lawler is a well-known broadcaster and one of the UK’s most relatable parenting voices. Her honest reflections on motherhood have made her a trusted figure among parents seeking reassurance, support and practical advice.

Together with her husband, Martin Bojtos, she hosts the podcast Boj and Kate Have A Lot On Their Plate, where they discuss the realities of raising their five-year-old daughter, Noa.

As a mother who openly shares both the joys and challenges of parenting, Kate will help Togetherness reach more families seeking practical, evidence-based support in an increasingly complex world.

As part of the partnership, Kate will launch Togetherness’ latest online pathway, Understanding your child in a changing world.

The programme explores how children are growing up in an increasingly digital world, navigating identity, relationships and emotional development in a rapidly changing environment.

Kate will also take part in a series of media appearances ahead of hosting a live Q&A event this September. The session will bring together Togetherness experts and parents to discuss children’s emotional wellbeing and answer common questions about modern parenting challenges.

Togetherness is an NHS team providing specialist training to support professionals and parents to better understand child development and emotional wellbeing through accessible, evidence-based learning.

For almost 30 years, Togetherness has helped families and professionals develop the knowledge and confidence needed to support children’s emotional health and wellbeing.

More than 90% of users report being satisfied with their experience of Togetherness’ online learning and say the pathways have positively impacted their relationship with their children.
