Making sense of big changes

Helping teenagers understand their own thoughts and feelings is essential to building resilience and mental wellbeing. Those teenagers who have followed these online pathways have anecdotally reported a better understanding of why they feel the way they feel, using strategies to help them process those big, sometimes confusing, emotions that can often feel overwhelming.

Providing them with online, bite-sized pathways means teenagers can study their way – whether that’s on their phones, laptops or tablets, privately and in the comfort of their homes, giving them time and space to reflect on their learning. Crucially, it also shares other teenagers’ experiences along the journey, reassuring them that they’re not alone, and normal in their own fluctuating feelings and behaviour.
