Navigating a changing world

Emphasising the importance of equipping parents with new approaches to big parenting challenges, we made our pathway, Understanding your child in a changing world, freely available for all parents in the UK throughout 2026.

From the ‘normal’ challenges of changing personalities, developing friendships and growing independence, children now face the wider – and novel – online world of social media, gaming and AI, alongside a macro-environment of conflict, climate change and global uncertainty. It’s a daunting world for a parent to navigate with their child, and our Togetherness experts help to shed light on new approaches and parenting tools to strengthen family connections and family wellbeing.

“AI definitely does not give what families really need, which is community, connectedness, and belonging… And I feel like parents learn best when they’re in community, in relationship, and are feeling connected.“

Bianca Sapara-Grant, CEO Parent Power

Policies for future resilience

Togetherness brought parents, professionals, and policymakers together at the House of Lords to launch the new pathway, addressing the concerns of the modern world and their impact on child mental health and raising awareness of the importance of relationship-focused, early intervention to help strengthen mental health and wellbeing. Our evidence-based model has the potential to ease a later resource burden on health and social care services through better mental resilience, and the Togetherness mission was strengthened by the support shown for both the emotional, mental and financial benefits of our approach.
